Hi, i have a question: Till today when i exceeded the 25km/h the diff lock was switched off automatically! Today (2 degrees above zero on the Onboard display) the diff lock was not going off!
Do i have a problem or when it shows the Ice sign (on the dashboard) it does not turn it automatically off in order to cope with low traction conditions??
i dont have an external temp sensor but i always thought it was a speed related disengage rather than anything else. I think maybe you have a problem with the vacuum line or something. Can you manually engage/disengage it?
Yes, i can totally enggage-disengage it! And some days ago it was automatically disengaged by the speed of the vehicle! Only today i have noticed that it was not self disengaged and thought that it has maybe something to do with the temerature outside!
I think i have a bad Blue-White wire contact! Today with 0 degrees Celcius it has worked ok like allways! So as it seems it is not so clever to not-gisengage itself on icy conditions!
Tested my diff-lock in a car park covered with frosty leaves the other day... disengaged fine on it's own, was about freezing out... must say, it made me grab an armful or opposite lock in a hurry
