    Driveshaft strength

Does anybody know roughly what kind of power s2 driveshafts will handle?
And are there any differences in the 3b/aby/rs2 driveshafts?

In my continuing saloon project im going to have to upgrade my driveshafts and gearbox and diffs at some point, probably later this year, but im wondering if its worth changing to s2/rs2 or if there is another stage if going for 500+ bhp.

Any info, however little, will be appreciated..

hi you could have them heat treated to strengthen them up a bit or have motorsport ones made

I cannot recall anyone 'upgrading' their propshaft even with big power hikes.

Check this thread for misc infomation surrounding my propshaft story...you may well get some info of use.
BTW I still have the old RS2 propshaft which would need a refurb as per the thread links.
Finally the coupe and avant propshafts are different so I would not be sure which would be best to use
