DAMMIT!!!! DAMMIT!!! Had the clutch replaced but now....
the well known VW/Audi shop is having problems with the center bearing replacement. SOB squeals like a bitch!!!!
The clutch replacement went well except the wrench had a problem with getting the pedal to come back and rest in the spec'ed position (10mm above brake pedal), I had to help bleed the slave cylinder.
When we took the car out to test the clutch the drive shaft was hitting the heat shield and the alignment was shot.
Back to the lift. We get the heat shield backed off here & there
and out for a drive again. The clutch pedal is settling just right. I start driving home and about 2 miles from the shop the center bearing starts singing too me. This is 4:00 on a Saturday afternoon. The wrench then tells me that it's just breaking in! I told him BS! It's not adjusted right and it's getting louder and this may **** up the rear driveshaft CV joint. He says no way and I say WAY!
He had the car for 4 days! The job was suppose too take just 2 days!! Now I gotta take it back Tuesday!
What do I have to do too tell this so-called expert that it's adjusted wrong? He even heard it thru the cell phone!
