    Clutch slip

Finally a dry evening and nothing else more pressing to do (or what her in doors wants to do).

Nice steady drive in the quattro until a honda integra type xyz thing tries it on.
No probs, left it for dead but when the overboost kicked in there was a foul smell of clutch slip!
This was in 5th at about 85-90 mph when pressing hard on the gas.
Anyone else suffered the same problems.
Clutch used was a ur item rated at 295 ish bhp so am told.
ECU was chipped to a quoted " 300bhp" but no dyno sheet to prove it.
Would 5 ish bhp more make a clutch slip?
what would people recommend? I don t want anything too harsh, not intending to up power much further.
Clutch doesn t smell at low speed or take off unless my left foot is slow!

Try searching on 'Clutchnet', 'Spec' for info on uprated clutches. Sachs also do a choice of units.
