Think my clutch is on its way When i have an agressive start or pull hard above 6.rpm, and change from 1st to 2nd above 5.8-6k it will grind. Unless i really really really get the clutch down hard and really perfect! also gearing down underload will cause this, 3rd to 2nd at high RPM
I have the same problem. It's the synchronisation rings of my second gear that are worn or something like that, so I've been told. I've seen here already a few posts about this problem.
Be careful asking Ian for advice on oil changes.... :mischeif:

Haha very funny, I thought everyone might off forgot about that one. I'm just pretending that it never happen.
The plug is at the bottom of the gearbox. You need either a large allen key or an actually gearbox removal socket to release the plug.
To refill the gearbox you need to undo the plug on the side of the gearbox abit higher up, The plug looks the same as the one under the gearbox, you still need to do this from under the car.
I used some cheap halfords gearbox oil when I changed mine can't remember the exact one, it was 80W / something.
What I did accidentally (NOT RECOMMENDED) was drive round with no gearbox oil in and this solved my crutch from 1st to 2nd. Its a long story I'm trying to forgot, think I've just about recovered
When the gearbox oil is out it might be worth trying it into all the gears a few times to try and knocked of all the rubbish.

would be nice to know in this case it can be only synchronizer ring (No.12) or something more, maybe synchronizing hub (No.13) as well

It will be just 12 so long as you have not been crunching it for to long. The teeth on the shifter collars are pointed to aid with meshing, crunching will knock the points off and bang goes your smooth shifting..
