Drivesahft CV joint to rear diff bad?

What kind of sound would I be hearing from back there? What I'm hearing now sounds like a paddling sound.
Any clue to what I should listen for?

Paddling sound..you didn't mention that on the other forumes you posted this question too...but now hearing that info I'd suspect the center bearing rubber had deterated & the driveshaft is banging agains the support

Center bearing is brand new.

I don't think it's that. I know what a shot center bearing sounds likr, believe me. This is more of a subtle sound.
