    5-speed half shafts on a 6-speed

Hi guys, I have an AAN converted coupe and I'm looking to replace the 5-speed stock coupe gearbox with a 6-speed S2 box. I'm pretty sure I know the issues of what needs to be replaced/converted. I found a pair of half shafts from a '92 5-speed S2 and need to know if they will fit with the 6-speed tranny. Thanks in advance for the help.

The P/N is the same in ETKA at least comparing S2 3B (5-spd) and S2 ABY (6-speed). However, you will need to go 82mm wheel bearings. If you want to keep 4-lug you can just use the smaller 100mm output flanges and your stock driveshafts. www.motorgeek.com - do a search on their forum. Americans seem to have much more know-how about converting CQ's as we are so spoiled with S2's over here.

center propschaft of the 5 speed will be to long to accomodate the 6-speeder. Find an ABY prop or use the front half of a RS2 prop together with the rear half of the 5 speed prop.
