hey guys. i need some ideaz on this please.
my car has done this since i have owned it but I want to fix it now.
At low engine revs when in 2nd or 3rd gear (especialy on hills) I get sort of ratling, ticking noise from the car.
If instead I had put it in first gear it is fine and in greater engine speeds is ok - Like over 3k RPM is fine in all gears?
Does anyone have idea on this problem? Is it maybe the syncros on gears 2 and 3 that are worn? Car has done near 150k miles.
Clutch is fine and actual gear changing is great.
Is this new gearbox needed or will car be ok for longer time? and is it good idea if I have gearbox and dif oil changed also?
