I also want to put this into a 90 CQ with most likely a s4/s6 motor and I was wondering what else do I need apart from the motor to put the tranny in, what type of mounts, differential, do I need new half shafts and what type of drive shaft would work??

Not sure how it works with your cars across the pond, but if you search on a "6 speed conversion" you'll see that the 2.7TT box can replace the S2-ABY 6-speed box pretty much like-for-like (think it needs to be filed slightly on a corner or something, can't quite remember). If it's replacing a 5-speed box then there's more involved, eg. Shorter prop, replacement clutch slave cylinders and a 6-speed subframe (or a spacer made for the 5-speed subframe), 6-speed linkages and tranny mounts. I've also heard the front drive-shafts need changing but I've also heard otherwise...
