Another work around to the spacer is to use the V6 B4 front subframe
Also, anyone with a spare ABY/6sp propshaft, I'm interested to buy.Leave a comment:

A made a lot of spacer investigations for my V8 cause it doesn’t have one, so far I understood the spacer story it’s dependent from the flywheel you will use.
It’s about the height of the flywheel and clutch - I think around 80mm was the limit for the clutch pedal and the reason for the difference is where your trigger wheel and sensor are located.
May this helps you

Do you just make a spacer to sit on top of the mount or space the mount on the subframe?Leave a comment:

I can knock you guys up a 37mm spacer if you need, did one recently for RXL with his gearbox swap kit

I found different sizes quoted when using a 7a front subframe on my Aby- varying from 30 to 40 mm, ended up with a 37mm one fitted with no probs.
I have a spare one I can send you if you like

Tom, if you’re using your 3B front subframe you’ll need a spacer for the gearbox mount.Leave a comment:

Mate, there's a place in Bristol that will shorten your existing prop and rebalance for just over £100. I'm getting mine done there. Do you still have the same mobile number? PM me if not and i'll call you.Leave a comment:

I have an ABY coupe prop here I can swap with you if you want Tom - I was going to shorten it anyway to use with my other 0A3 gearbox
It needs CVs as the old ones were shot, but you can just take your old ones off yours and go with them, or I can give you the Lobro p/n for new ones.
Just cover the cost of post
