I would not recommend SPEC. Buy a reinforced organic sprung Sachs SRE instead.

That's wrong for an S2. 078 parts are for the V6

Ok, thanks. I don't really want a sports clutch, but may have to go that route of i can't find an original spec one.

are youre aware that SPEC is a company making clutches? you just want a original s2 aby clutch kit. not a SPEC one.. SPEC makes sport and racing clutch kit

sachs and luk still makes the original clutch kit for s2. just go on google otherwise go with a sachs sre with organic dics. clutch pressure plates ends with 724

No, I didn't know there was a SPEC company. Yes, I want a Sachs or Luk. I can't find the original, just a Sachs sport version. I have been told the original clutch is nla. The car was fitted with a Luk friction plate and Sachs pressure plate, both marked with original audi part nos.
can you still get the original?

Someone posted on the facebook page they got one on Amazon not sure if it was S2 though, worth a look
