    Repair or leave it alone...

I found some evidence of a leak near the clutch pedal, likely from the cylinder . Reason for concern or can this be left alone?

You'll need to fix it. Eventually the clutch will fall to the floor and not come back

I'd be for wiping it and monitoring!...………….then eventually I'd get around to replacing it!

I would fix now. If you get oil on your shoes your foot could easily slip off the brake pedal at the worst possible moment

It is worth replacing and probably alongside with clutch cylinder on the gearbox if you are bleeding the clutch. With clutch hydraulic pipe inspected and replaced if needed.

I'll put her on a ramp to find the source of the leak.

That looks to me more like melted and then re-solidified grease, which has then dried out.

              Is it wet?
