driveshafts - are any other models interchangeable?

Thinking about driveshafts from other models, are there any others that would fit an S2 coupe?

I'm thinking specifucally a 7a coupe quattro - rear shafts...

I know the inner cv joint is different because the diff flange is different, but I think the outer cv joint is the same...

Are the splines different, or the shaft smaller maybe?

Could the cq rear shafts fit the S2 coupe..........?

AFAIK S2 coupe rear are unique.
You can use CQ20v rear shafts if you swap to the smaller diff output flanges.

incredibly deep... sadly, arms so short they don't even reach my belt...

So What kind of axles are you making Alex. Bigger joints with axles without upgrading the hub and bearing? Bolt-on kit
