    Prop. splitting? CQ

After nearly 29 years of being bolted to the diff, I've got the 6 allen bolts out that hold the rear prop joint to the diff......what's the best way to split it? ……...hit where with hammer?...….twist it off?!

…..or, where can I see a picture of the diff flange?

    Thanks in advance.

Release fluid in there and carefully use a block of wood and hammer on the flange.Keep turning the prop and Lots of little blows on the flange will see it of! Done the same thing on 2 C4's in the last couple years.

Cheers Mark, just given it more tapping and it's off.

No problem, it works a treat as long as one is very careful not to bend the flange.
