  • Driveshaft CV Boot Repair Kit

    Hi.

Going to overhaul everything under my s2, just wondered about cv boot repair kits,
Is there something that is recommended that is good quality? Original or just aftermarket?

I see 034motorsport have CV Boot repair kit , is this okay or is something else better?
There is a lot of parts to chose from so Im not quite sure what to pick.

SKF and Spidan make good quality CV's and boot kits. SKF VKJP 6505 and SKF VKJP 3005 for the front. The rears are a bit more tricky to find. OEM might still be available too. I'd avoid universal kits like that from 034.

I'd say to steer clear from skf cv boots. I had skf fail in less than two years. There should be a pic in my project thread.

These are easy to get and Loebro can be used. There are several choices available 306353, 306482 or Spidan 36174, 36303
