  • Prop shaft bearing query

    Alright gents,

Where's the best place to get a prop shaft bearing these days? I fitted a new one a couple of years back but it turned out there was very little grease in it and it rumbles now.

    Cheers
    Gordon

I just bought one for my A6 from here:-

Not fitted it yet so can't comment on quality, but it looks OK.

There is a big thread on exactly this topic somewhere on the forum if you search.

The consencous is don't get the febi option as they don't last. I can vouch for that - mine started making a funny chirping noise from cold after only a handful of months.
