We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
That looks to be pretty normal. I have a rear diff apart at the moment. The axial movement on the left seems non adjustable. The axial movement on the right is adjustable with shims, as far as I can see it is for clearance of diff lock gears, should be between 0.2 and 0.5mm. There is slight radial play as the output shafts fit into a sleeve and are not a tight fit.HTH.
