    Rear Diff Bush Installation

    Guys

Im replacing the rear diff bush on my 20v quattro coupe.

The new bush I have has an arrow on it. My question is when it is installed is the arrow supposed to point to the floor of the car, the groune, to the engine of the car or towards the rear of the car.

It is also off centres. I assume this is OK??

    thanks
    Quattro Man!

There is only one way it can go mate, just take a look at the other one, which will be the opposite way and fit it opposite to that!!

Are you replacing witha standard bush? I would have suggested the powerflex one as they are a doddle to fit and easier to remove in the future.....

Just done this myself you see and lloking at the two and trying to work with the two, the powerflex ones just goes in a treat and sits center perfect without any hassle.....

Yes def must say that looks nothing like the audi readr diff bush, i have just given my car a quick look over just to double check and yes the bolt hole should only be int he center of the bush!!!!!
                    P.S. I have a CQ20V too!!

An OEM replacement bush for a cq20v, S2 etc (B3/B4 Coupe quattro) doesn't exist on it own, You'd have to buy the alloy mount too at £80 or there abouts.
The picture linked above is a bush for a huge variety of older Audi and VW's, They were used for engine mounts, gearbox mounts etc.
It's also the rear diff bush used on the URquattro.
Yes, it's slightly offset when used on a cq20v etc, but works perfectly fine.
Yes, the arrow is pointing in the right direction (direction of travel).

Oh, the powerflex one, just wait for the droning and vibrations to start. I removed mine and gave it to my dog. He likes, I didn't
