new RS4 transmittion on the RS2

is it possible to fit the rear torsen of the RS4 to the 40/60??

The new gearbox in the RS4 is a Getrag unit and though the bell housing is the same as the O1E the rest of the box and the mountings are different. I suppose it would be possible to remove the centre diff and put it in the O1E casing but have not tried it myself. I could strip the box i have and see if its possible if i get time.

Not sure if the A4 / S2 torsen diffs are interchangeable, but I'll be looking at one of these if I ever
a. Modify my little 4 pot to over 300bhp
or (more realistically)
b. Get an S4 and give it a good MRCing to...
