Putting S4 2.7T box to 6-spd S2

I have 6-spd gearbox in my S2. I have another extra one for exchange. But both of the boxes have probably lot of mileage on them. I'm going to use my car in track racing so reliability is a must.

That is why I'm considering putting a S4 2.7T (DSY / EDU) gearbox in the car.

Could anyone help me out and list the parts I need for conversion ? I would like to keep the oil cooling runing also.

The list in my head now consists of
- the gearbox
- oil lines + oil cooler
- gear linkage ???

Anything else ?

Your original linkage should fit. But one of the mounting points just needs a spacer.

I would like to switch for the newer gear linkage because it is newer and more precise.

Did anyone try to use it in Coupe ?

I think if you want anything other than the stock S2 6 speed linkage, it will have to be custom made.
