Are you planning on testing it "under similar conditions" to see if that's true then Tom? :mischeif:

How much horsepower are you (were you) making at the time and at what RPM did you slip the clutch?

      Enquiring minds want to know.

The stock diff will get you into the 9's with some luck and 10's EASY.
Just make sure all the bushes are okay and that you have good dampers and springs.

All sorted now, got a replacement 3b diff back in there. Must admit i prefer the way it drives again. Not as snappy when booting it out of roundabouts/corners.

              'booting it out of roundabouts/corners'

tsk tsk yound man - your opposite lock reactions must be lightning quick with the bootful of torque that your donkey generates

I'm still going to proceed with the rear LSD mod on mine though - cos I'll never have that much torque to damage it or scare myself...

I really want to feel the difference - I was going to transplant the V8 torsen into my own diff casing, but now I'm off a mind to transplant it into a spare rear diff so its easy to swap over or sell onwards should I ever feel the need.
