hi all, I recently fitted a v8/ l.s.d diff [rear] ,welst moving the car into a parking space being driven at 3-5 mph I noticed that the diff was locked ? the rear wheels were scrubbing as you would expect with a locked diff or plated diff . from what I have read the torson diff should be free unless under load. any one had this with there v8 diff conversion ? Is it poss the diff has to much or not enough back lash

DOn't see how you can lock a torsen diff unless some internal component fails... I'm no expert on 'backlash' though, but surely if it was locked (somehow) it would always be locked and causing tyre scrub and lairy oversteer at normal speeds ?

diff
The diff only seems locked when going very slow ? going round bends it seems fine ,like you said if it was locked I would be side ways The last rally I did with this diff ,I ended up in the forest, it seemed to lock then ,but I am not sure as it was very wet and I was on slicks
