      The bushing seem to be on its way out. Get a new one, not a shortshifter!!

              I've attached the workshop schematic for dismantling the gear shift lever.

              Basically take off the circlip (number 15) and the rest will slide off upwards. 19 and 20 will no doubt fly out of the side when you do this so be prepared.
