I have been looking through the forum and there are many posts regarding short shifters etc for the S2. My 3B gear selector has become very sloppy and prone to exagerated movement while changing gear. Would upgrading to a short shifter solve this problem or would an overhaul of the existing selector be a better option.
I am not a great mechanic but if the cost of the upgrade is on a par with an overhaul would i be better with a short shifter.
Any help would be appreciated and any part numbers or contact details of firms for ordering the necessary parts would be much appreciated.
