What Flywheel/Clutch Setup for Big HP ?

After all the issues ive had with Spec clutches and the flywheel setup, im looking for a new flywheel setup for a ABY application.

Would like to know from the guys running big HP what flywheel/clutch setup they using ?
I intend to run 500 + hp on my car, and want the setup to be capable of full blooded launches.

    Thanks in advance.

i had 2 SPEC clutches fail in less than 5000 miles

i had 2 SPEC clutches fail in less than 5000 miles 467wtq, no warranty from SPEC plus they wore very unhelpful and basically blow me of. My friend was SPEC dealer last 6 clutches he sold all failed, he needed to eat them because SPEC didn’t warranty the product.

I vent with southbendclutch.com stage5 rated at 850FTQ, 3000 pound pressure plate, litlle jerky in a first gear, and clutch pedal on a stiffer side. GOOD stuff very nice to deal with and it dose not slip

We have clutch kits from 550Nm organic single plate to 1500Nm triple plate available.

All kits include practically indestructable CrMo flywheel.

Like mentioned, in another string, before, if Your aim is 600ish hp and plus 700Nm, You need twin plate. No single plate will hold, no matter what they promise. American torque-figures apparently do not correlate to European ones, therefore only a couple of UK and German manufacturers' promises for torque capability meet the real world.

In case interested, pls send email repo ät pro-mo.info
