    Diff Lock!

PAUL!!! Bro... I have a question... yes, another one hehehe So... I was looking underneath the car, and on the rear diff... I saw 2 vacuum lines ( both were black but one has a blue stripe and the other one has a yellow stripe), at the back of the diff the is one conector with 2 wires... What should I do to eliminate the diff speed lock off????? thanks a lot!!!

IIRC its cutting the blue and white wire to do this, think jeffer has more information about it as its how he does his donuts.

is that safe to do, is there any damage done by driving round with the diff lock on other than no ABS!! .

I don't know how it locks the diff but im guessing it must be a vacuum drawn bolt of some kind if it is how thick is the bolt or have I got it all **** from elbow??? :roflmao:

Not too sure but have a look here http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8425 you can see the splines on the stock diff. AFAIK it works by locking that drive shaft to the body of the diff unit.

I'll take a look for that wire... will make an extension to a switch and then... nothing happend here! hehehe BTW I was reading those old posts and couldn't find anything about our differentials... otherwise I like the idea to swap a rear torsen diff from an V8! My problem is to find a V8 :S
