SPEC clutch fell apart in 8 miles. HELP!

Ok, i took my AAN URS4 off the road 9 months ago for a major refit. New clutch, new turbo, manifold, intercooler, gas kit, suspension etc etc. Ok so i get it on the road tonight. I get 8 miles and the clutch wont disengauge. Eg foot on floor and car keeps going. Peddle feels normal. So i pulled the gearbox back out. The friction plate had stuck to the flywheel! I mean i needed to lever it off with a screwdriver. All the material had fell off flywheel side and was in the bellhousing .

Has anyone else had this problem with Spec stage 2 clutchs. It is a kevlar based material good for over 400ft/lb of torque.
Is this a 1 off problem?

    Cheers,des.

I dont know. Im useing a 7a flywheel and that was supposed to be ok for the version i got. Clucth worked fine moving the car in and out of garage and arround yard. Also looks like new on the pressure plate side.

I got mine from Aelred Smith a year ago. I sent him a PM but have heard nothing yet, but its only been a day. Anyone any contact details for him. I need a friction disc ASAP. The release bearing looks fine.???

Sorry to hear about the clutch but on an unrelated question I am looking at doing a similar overhaul on my S6 Avant soon (suspension bushes, shocks etc.) Looking for any useful info - i.e. where to get the stuff at the right price etc.

I got most of the stuff from 034. Bushes from German + Swedish.

I will try and get pictures on my phone. I have no digital camera.
