Whinning noise
Please help me diagnose noise from the gearbox/clutch.
Car is a 1996 S2 6 speed ABY engine.
I have a whinning noise with the engine on in neutral and in every gear. As soon as I press on the clutch pedal noise goes away. I hope it's just the release bearing.
Gearshifts are normal. I recently replaced the gearoil with synchromesh syntethic gearoil.
Gearshift are smooth as butter.
