Help/advice needed on my drive shafts problem

Hi all

i neededing parts or advice...........(knowing my luck ....BOTH )


Just done S2 hubs bearings and replacement drive shafts on my F reg Audi 90 Quattro....

At the rear all went well.......its the front i hitt a wall

The driveshaft flanges on gearbox are small........with 8mm multispline........but the S2 drive shafts inner cv joint is bigger and has 10mm multispline bolts

MY QUESTION IS


How can i over come this problem??

You have to use 108mm inner flanges from S2. Can be found on some 100's too.

Are the splines on the flanges the same in gearbox
for 90 Quattro and S2?.....and possibly 100?

There are some diferences between the flanges. How they are fixed in the gearbox diff.
The early ones have an center screw to fix them. The later gearboxes have an steel ring wich goes in a groove in the diff. Check before what tipe you have in your box.
