clutch slave or master

hi guys,

just had the clutch pedal to the floor problem. was wondering if the master or slave is connected to the pedal?? (aby 6 speed). clutch is heavy but need to buy some time to save up for new clutch. any thoughts

Master is connected to the pedal and pedal box assembly, slave is attached to gearbox bellhousing.

Seemed ok on the M27 from the M3 last week at 69.999mph Brian Smith and i think also John (Bowlerwell) had the same prob and resolved fairly easily iirc

I got my master from VAG parts.
Since then my slave has been replaced too.

ok, got the offending m/c off the clutch pedal side.
where does it come through into the engine bay and where and how do you disconnect it?? any thoughts
