    Sticky Clutch Pedal?

    Hi There,
Dont know if anyone can help....Clutch pedal seems a little sticky???
It all works ok apart from when you release the pedal it only comes up half way..and then to bring it to the same height as the brake pedal you have to pull it up with your foot!
I have had a look in the foot well and it all seems good.
    Is this a common problem?
    Thanks James

One of cylinder seals is telling you, that it has tired already. Which one - master or slave, I can not tell.

Air in the system, or faulty master / slave cylinder. Try venting the clutch, you can also adjust the pedal by the floor.

Master Cylinder pushrod, imminent failure I would suspect. Check your Master Cylinder under the dash as a first port of call.

        Cheers.

What Steve said. I replaced my master cylinder to cure this as you have to remove it but I'm sure that was a bit OTT. There's a knuckle joint half way along the pushrod, the rubber perishes and it loses integrity. Removing the knuckle joint and replacing with a solid bit of bar is best.

Yup, agree with tweedle dumb and dumber above

The pushrod on mine snapped within days of the pedal starting to stick, leaving me stranded in France. Get your head in there and inspect the pushrod now and I bet it is bent.

            Cheers n
