well the most problems i have read about spec was with aluminium flywheels.I hope mine with the DM will hold to its specifications. What the hell?I am 100hp less than what the spec unit says it holds.

Yes, I read it before I posted this thread. Made me wonder if there are a few other happy SPEC users besides PapVas.IMHO - Spec is **** ...
I take it u have read my horror story ...
Thanks for the offer, but I will pass
NEVER CHANGE TO AN ALUMINIUM FLYWHEEL on a ABY/RS2 setup.
Ther are far too many Problems with non returning pedals.
I suggest you Retain the Dual mass flywheel and get a good sachs clutch.
Lightened flywheels on heavy cars make for poor traffic light take offs.
Considering you say you want it for daily use - DM will be the best.
Thanks for you feedback Faheemo!
You say you run a 7A flywheel (SM) so I gues a 3B flywheel (also SM and 1 kilo lighter) will also work for you?
I am more and more going into the direction of buying a Sachs Organic Race clutch at the moment. An aluminium flywheel I will skip and also no SPEC for me. I would think a 3B flywheel would still be OK for daily driving compared to a DM flywheel as I have that in use at this moment. The S2 with 3B engine came standard with it, so it must be not too bad for daily driving I guess
Any new advises on the use a SM flywheel vs. DM for daily driving considering the turbo setup I have at this moment?
