I think the 10v has different ratios to account for the lower revving engine.

I think the rear diff will probably be the same 4.11, same as the 10v Coupe q.

this is what i was getting at you need to keep the ratio as a pair otherwise you will be blowing up you transfer box bit . i dont know how many diffrent ratios there was for final drives but i imagine there was a few.

all b3 and b4 quattros have the 4.11 rear diff, the series 2 is different but not sure what it is, may not be 4.11 on the 100 either but not sure, as for gear ratios, the cq, altho diff ratios will still fit and work fine, just be higher revving on the motorway, but then you should get to speed a bit faster lol. i seem to think stiglet may still have a 20v one around unless hes sold it or keeping it, otherwise re2500 has a 10v one, only thing with 10v ones is i've heard they are slightly weaker, not sure how much truth there is in that. but the 20v one and the 3b one i believe are the same apart from the 4th and 5th ratios. all this assuming you have a 3b of course....

                        Edit:
just seen the Q about 6 speeds too, they should all fit the gearbos and match the rear diff but thats where it ends i'm afraid. i'm doing the same on my car, the rs2, s2 and s4tt gearboxes require a shorter propshaft, new shifter linkage(poss new shifter mechanisn too) and new mounts. however, if you buy an s2 or rs2 everything may well be included, not sure if shifter and mounts off the s4s will work on the s2.......oh and you will need the 6 speed sub-frame also....

You can use it, sure. Propshaft might need a bit modification. And that 100q box won't take abuse easily
All quattro products have been dermatologically tested, and are safe for daily use.
