I am after some 7a driveshafts for my 6 speed conversion.
The 2 WD and the quattro parts have different part numbers, but I have been told they are indeed the same part.
Can anyone please confirm this?
Many thanks
Chris
The hub spines are the same but AFAIK the gearbox flange ends are different mate - differnt bolt sizes and possible flange diameter too
HELP!
THat's not telling me much
THe parts I have been told to get are driveshafts without constant velocity joints from an audi 90 or coupe quattro 20V ( 7A ). THese then fit into the CV's of my typ 85 and by just shaving a fraction off the flange, everything marries up fine.
THanks though
@Fourcircle, was so hoping had found what was looking for but just trying to make sure to save both of us any trouble. Still keeping my fingers crossed. Hope you don't mind?
Cheers
Chris
no worries at all matey. you're sensible making sure first. Alex is probably spot on with what he said (although it doesn't tell you 100% what you need to know).
Try PMing Sal_s2 or s2_sal (someone help me out) cos he's got more cq bits than anyone. in fact i'll PM you his number
