I know some garages for classic cars but not Audis In Manchester.
There is a good gearbox company but they are always very busy. I don't know if they do clutches.
One place that has a good reputation and is easy enough to get to is Central VW Audi. They are in Ellesmere Port ( 30 mins from Manchester). They know their stuff and do lots on Audi Quattros. www.centralvwaudi.com when I visited they were fitting a 6 speed box from an Audi 100 /S4 into a UR quattro. They also make tubular exhausts for the 20v turbo engines.
They are very knowledgeable and friendly. Tim is the man for the Audi work.
No connection with garage but I have bought from them in the past.
Ellesmere Port is a bit far foe me really as I am on the other side of manchester near Oldham.

I live on the south side of Manchester and the only person I know is Dave Mc Coll in Woodford. 0161-439-5698 may be worth a contact. Fantastic engineer and he is fully Bosch equipped. Mine will be going down there for a tune when it's back on the road.
