unusual noise when pulling off

hi all, done a quick search to no avail on this.

my S2 coupe is making a high pitch squeek noise on pulling away (only when cold) for about 5-10seconds then its silent. Its the same kind of noise you would hear if you had a stone in the brakes. It starts and stops with a bit of throttle in the 5-10 sec bracket.

any BTDT's?

im rather hoping its not something like the diff.

hello! sorry havent been around much. been busy with work n'that.

car would play silly beggers a couple of days before i go on holiday! hopefully get it on the ramp 2mo to investigate. and hopefully its just a heatshield rubbing on the prop or something similar.
