maybe coming from a diesel cars they are strongers than 3B´s ARV gearbox ???

and maybe stronger than olders aby/adu gearbox??? surelly not stronger than lastest ADU gearboxes..


i have an "easy" posibility to buy a complete trasmission from a A6/2.5TDI 140hp because it´s very cheap and i have it very near from my town,aniway i dont know if it´s possible fit it in my coupe..

someone know if this trasmission will fit with few modifications (like aby_/aan/adu ones) in the 3b coupes??

If it does fit (and suspect it will have the same casing as the CGR and CBL) the TDI A6 version will blunt in gear acceleration noticably unless you intend on running 600bhp. By recollection 6th is geared to over 33mph/1000rpm....

similar to fitting the 6 speed in a golf the diesels were readiliy available from gold pd's. porblem was the ratios suit low rpm and i think it was around 212mph at 6krpm.

PD: 212mph at 6000rpm it will be faster than any other car this is a crazy speed

one option is to look at a final drive change use maybe an s2 final. or swap some cogs about to give maybe 1st and second from the s2. a loooooong 3rd for seeing people off. 4th and 5th from s2 and an ultra long 6th for motorway fuel saving.

not even sure its possible.

in the vw's a vr 1st and second with G60 the rest was the way to get a better start off the line for example

Is it the quattro diesel box or just the FWD one?
