any interest in a center diff spool?

i am looking into an alternative for welding the center Torsen differential solid on my drag chassis. subaru has a machined piece that replaces this diff for full locking front and rear, no bias.

this is what i am after. the people that are going to look into making it asked if this is a one-off part for me only or if there is more that would be made. the cost issue and time to develop is on their minds.... i have the diff's to spare for them to sketch from, dissect, whatever they need to do for dimensions. and right now i will run the car with a welded Torsen diff, Lincoln Locker how some say it, until such time as i find something different. weight savings could be had, which lowers rotational mass, and thereby frees up power and throttle response to some degree....

just asking if i am the only guy who wants this... i know a few guys over here that would be interested.... this is a more solid solution to the Stasis type washer mods for torque bias changes.

and off-chance is there already something like this available?

there have been a few people over here that have welded their center diffs solid for this purpose.... want RWD? drop front axles and pop in some outer CV stubs to retain the bearings. want FWD? drop the propshaft....

An alternative approach is to source an early 5-speed 016 gearbox from a UR quattro - they have a non torsen centre diff which can be locked. I think it only applies to WR engined quattros, pretty sure it was Torsen city from MB onwards.

One thing I do like about that gearbox/setup is it oversteers more and I found the car to be more controllable with that setup.

Only thing on a high power s2 engine that might be a pain is the ratio's.

I've been looking into this option lately. Have found a few companies that make them. Haven't run down whether any of what they make might fit yet....doubtful but thought i'd look that way first. Moser, Strange, Richmond, and Summit all make them. I'm not 100% convinced this is the route to go yet, but interested at very least.
