2.8 CQ gearbox mounts - how hard to fit?

My car is making a big clunking noise from underneath when i lift off or on throttle and you can feel it through the gearstick.

Im presuming its the gearbox mounts,how easy are they to change? I've done a search and found the S2 mounts are are PITA but wondered if the V6 ones were as bad? I havent had i proper look underneath yet but any pointers?? ta

Real easy with no engine in the way...oops...no help there.

Might want to take a quick peek...want some piccies of the donor?

Really need to get under it and check for access.

I'll have to pop round mate and have a sniff, i owe you a few beers. I had it up on the ramp as well recently to get the alignment sorted, I should have checked then..

oooh dear,that looks a proper b'stard to get to, i hope its easier from underneath. Im in Bournemouth tommorrow eve and dropping the Mrs at Heathrow thurs eve, free most of nx week tho. cheer mate

Gearbox mounts arent too bad to get to from underneath, just support the GB with a jack. Well its easy enough on an ABY assuming the 2.8 aint much different.
