We have got a noise ( oh no, here we go again I hear you cry ) on the auto box on my S6 ( 20 valve). P plate with 152k on the car. Start her up and all is well for a 20 - 30 seconds then you get a slight grating noise like something is catching as it goes around whcih is quite audible. Then, once she warms up, or select drive ( D or 1,2,3) the noise dies. I think it could benefit from a fluid change and filter in the box but she drives very well changing up and down nicely and 'remembering' how you were driving. Any thoughts out there??
