Well £10k will get you a nice trick gearbox - a couple of nutters have removed front driveshafts to achieve this, but hard to wire that up to a button... For drifting - might I suggest some generic Japanese shitbox is better suited to this form of 'motorsport' than an Audi S2 - harsh I know but I'm too old to appreciate it
Drifting might be fun - actually it is - done it in the snow often enough with 4WD - but its slow round the track... But yeah - I am a grumpy old git sometimes........

You'll never do it but if you actually went and saw a D1 GP event it's truly awesome. The car control that these guys display, while racing a few inches apart, door to door is more than impressive. It has nothing to do with lap times, it's a small section of track, head to head. Anyway, you may remeber that the fastest way to drive a pre down force & slicks F1 car was in a drift, same for most cars pre 1980 before chassis and tyre technology took the aspect of on the limit car control out of racing, what about rally drivers, they live sideways while drifting, in fact I'd put money on the fact that you'd choose a mk.2 Escort over the local weather girl any day
That said, the Jap-crap scene associated with drifting is an entirely different story...
