    Par Motorsport Dog-Box conversion

Hi Guys, I've spent the last few days reading up on possible Dog-box conversions and decided to chat to Par-Motorsport regarding their kit that I heard rumours about.

It seems as though the kit is not advertised (to my knowlege) on their website so if your interested please see below for our quoted convesation. If you can compate the attached image to that of the kit sold by V.S motor you can plainly see they offer less - however I feel that this is heavily reflected in the price, which is quite a bargain if your properly considering a conversion such as myself.

    Sorry if it's a re-post.

Message_Enquiry_Feedback:Hi there, I am a member of the Audi S2 forum and there has been a lot of talk of your company producing a Dog-box conversion of some sort for the Audi 01E gearbox. As I have heard nothing on the forum for about a year I am wondering if this is even true, and if so what are your plans? I am certainly in the market for such a gearbox conversion and if you are developing a conversion I would greatly appreciate your feedback on its progress/shortcomings and development.

    Kindest Regards

    Hello John,

We have made 2 versions of the Audi 01E 6MT gearset, one for drag racing in a 1st~4th configuration and a 1st~6th full dog for circuit and rally racing. We're currently out of stock of the drag ratio, but the circuit/rally version is in stock and ready to go.

The pricing for the full 1st~6th dog engagement straight cut gearset is $7,150 AUD. This includes input shaft, 1st~6th gears, sliders/hubs and billet shift forks. The ratios in stock are 3.12, 2.15, 1.54, 1.20, 0.96 and 0.85.

All components are manufactured from the highest quality billet steel with heat treatment by the very best Japanese companies that also perform work for OEM Honda and Yamaha components. Included in the process is cryogenic stress relief and removal of retained austenite with a final process of shot peening to provide the very best gearset in terms of strength and durability.

Our 01E gearsets have been tried and proven with over 1,000hp and 950nm ATW in drag racing S4 station wagons.

I've also included a picture of the 1st~6th gearset for you to look at.

As I have said on several threads now why doesn't someone contact Elite Tranmissions.

They have built a dogbox for a mates box for £4500, they also did a 4x4 box for similar money in a 700+hp Celica, both boxes retained the standard casings so were a direct fit into the cars they came from.

Their customer service is second to none and being that they are in the uk its a huge benefit knowing your dealing with someone this side of the water, especially if you have any problems.

Sorry if someone has spoken to them but I haven't heard them mentioned on here at anytime.

                    lol @ Daily Driver.

Could be worse, could be a sequential.

Can't promise anything but certainly worth a try !

                    Here are some pics :

Dog box still requires clutch activation on downshifts and is H pattern.

Sequential is as I know it on a barrell so pull back for going up the gears and forward to go down, I've used a Drenth box in a M3 race car and it was slick.
