Shift Fork broken

I posted on the 'Short Shift Kt' but need some advise ASAP.

I Installed the shifter everything was going fine got the console back on, then realised that we had forgot to put the the shifter pivot sleeve on. So ripped everything back off.. tried to pull the shift fork back up so we could reconnect the shifter pivot. The DAMN shift fork broke . Now i need to know if this fork is a single part that can be replaced? Been having a look today and def need to remove the exhaust to get to it underneath.

Looking at it id have thought it'd be no 12 too Ben.

I think it's 12 or 14. I didn't notice I'd highlighted 12.

I'd have thought 12, if the collar was left out 12 would get most stress....

i have a shifter from a std Coupe 2.2E(5 speed)and the highlighted one looks very similair,anyway if any use pm me,and will look it out

The part that is broken is 14 on the diagram. One side of the part just broke of. Its cast iron I think

Wouldn't a breaker yard help you with this?

Either that or VAG parts? I'm sure Martyn 's got something laying about.

Wish I had one in my garage to help you out Abs, thankfully, that number 14 is very cheap! so no bigge, just teh down time to get one in.... You have PM.
