    Rear driveshaft lengths (left/right)

I have a guy coming over later to buy a S2 rear driveshaft. When I went searching through my garage i found 4 of them. The guy needs a left driveshaft, and as far as I can see the shafts have different lengths. I don't have my own car near, so I cant look underneath that.

    So, whats what?
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried.

have just checked a pair i removed fron an s2 avant and they are the same length, cant realy see why they should be anything other than that on the rear. make sure he brings the old one with him.

On type 85s which i'm guessing will be similar with the type89 stuff....

Front: N/S is longer, O/S is shorter.
Rear N/S is shorter. O/S is longer.
