Hi guys, sorry if this has been discussed before, but I haven't found it.
I know that it is quite usual to remove the dual mass flywheel on the ABY/RS2 and, instead of it, use a 3B/7A one with a (usually) 3B upgraded clutch.
I was wondering if the operation could be done the other way. I imagine that it could but I just wanted to make sure. I have the chance to get a new RS2 Sachs clutch at a very good prize and a friend of mine has a spare dual mass flywheel. I would be interested to fit them on my 3B as this could let me use my 3B flywheel on a engine I plan to build and still have the chance to drive my car with the stock engine untill I finish the new one. I also need a clutch and this RS2 Sachs unit would be a very good choice, if it was compatible.
Do you think I would have any problems fitting it on my 3B and its 5 speed gearbox?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers!!
