    Propshaft adjustment

    Hi,
Took the propshaft off the car a few months back, and now it needs to go on again.
I can't remember where I placed the nuts and screws for it, and ETKA tells me the parts number is N/A. Are there some adjusting shims too?

The main importance should be keeping the prop level (AO straight line) with the rear diff and the gearbox right?

Would S-express' picture be of a VAG tool 3186?

nope - its just a couple of bits of U channel steel as used by industrial electricians to house cabling - available at any good electrical wholesaler - and 1 hell of a lot cheaper than 3186!

Looks like my propshaft ended up slightly off centre. Can't really adjust it much either
