    corey strikes back....

So I've spent quite a bit of time lately putting the kingfisher back together and its going pretty well until today looks like my “seem welded double coated stronger than titanium best ****ing subframe in the world” isn't actually the one that came from my car.
The question is what is it from and how can I make the diff fit?
Rear mount is fine. Left mount is fine the right hand mount is about 20mm of centre (the one below the subframe) pics to follow.

Could get bambridge or someone to make a custom offset mounting bush for it.

Ive got the 034 mounts i dont think thats the problem, the arms on the diff are to wide for he holes on the subframe im thinking the subframe may be from a 3b or a CQ.

the subframes are the same - what i meant is I have spare alloy brackets to mount the diff

ARe you sure it doesn't fit? There is quite a bit of movement in the mounts due to the elongated holes - slacken off the other two mounts and wriggle it about a bit

              Subframe could be bent perhaps?

All the same rear subframe. The diff arm orientation on the rear is a little odd, one on top, one underneath IIRC.

Are the bush holes at the correct centres for the car? might be worth checking in case it's off a crashed car and has 'shrunk'

Does it still fit the car?

Sorted the subframe was warped, there are plates welded on the rear of the subframe to repair holes caused by rust and shot blasting, im pretty sure these have pulled it out of shape.
Made a jig with a trolley jack and some timber and bent it back everythings bolted up now.

Had this issue with some wishbones I seem welded, used portapower to make fit and had issue both my '88 subframes being bit thin at the rear diff mount on left hand side. So would guess start being a issue for S2's next year or so, pesonally plated mine up and got sandblasted and powder coated

Not 100% sure but I dont think you've bolted that mount correctly. The bolts should both be facing downwards and the nuts tightened from underneath
