ABS light on when diff lock is on

    Hi Guys

I recently replaced the leds in the diff lock switch, when i tried the switch yesterday the ABS light came on in the dash, and when i drove off it was "biting" the brakes, as ABS should, however, i didnt have my foot on the middle pedal!. The green light on the diff switch didnt go on either.

Anyone have any idea whats going on?

I think the ABS light comes on in mine too, but I don't get a problem with the brakes. I'll have a look when I get home.

the abs light should come on when the diff lock is engaged.

the abs light never used to come on, but the green light did, now it doesnt, ill double check led connections in the switch

did concerned about the brakes pinching tho, i know thats not right.

The green light will only come on when the diff has successfully locked, normally you have to drive in a straight line for a few feet before it will lock in. ABS always cancels when the diff lock is engaged.

won't be the ABS triggering, probably just the rear wheels hopping becasue the diff was locked

Agreed, you will be experiencing "wind up" and nothing to do with brakes. The ABS light should come on when diff is locked, or trying to lock.
