Removing outer bearing race from hub

knocked the hubs out of my carriers and having some problems removing the outer bearing race from one of them

Got the other 3 off without too much hassle, levered them off with a pry bar. This one is a stubborn c**t

Tried heating it with a blow torch and twisting with some stilsons but its not budging, this f***er has a smaller lip than the other and I can't get my 2 leg puller to get any purchase on it either!

    anyone got any bright ideas?

I hope I understand you correctly...
I've used a reciprocating saw with success at this type of problem. You'll need a good quality blade capable of cutting stainless steel (not expensive tho') and a good helping of patience. You'll get to weaken the shell a lot.
    Something like this

    or

    good old fashioned hydraulic press.

      Be careful with a grinder?

grinder, grind off one side nearly down to the hub it should split if you have taken anought off then you should be able to get a small chissle or screw driver in between the hub and end off the bearing and prise it off. don't grind in to much and put a flat spot on the hub.

you can't work on a 20 year old car without a grinder

but yeah i was wary of taking the grinder to it as above didn't want to damage the hub, but will consider that the "final solution"
