RS2 - Brand New Parts & Part Numbers for a restoration to a slick perfect gear change

    Hi,
I want to swap all the linkage bushes, parts, links, balls, joints and all the 'worn' parts contributing to a less than perfect gearchange.

I just want my car to feel smoother and newer as I am using it more now and have decided it would be nice to sort it.

How awkward it is to replace these parts?

    Many Thanks

if done all at once, not that awkward. The only difficult part would be seized parts. What i found in mine was that changing the gear box mounts did a huge difference. I also used 034 mounts (street density) instead of OEM for a bit of more endurance.

I guess someone with ETKA and a few minutes should be able to help out here... just a thought, would changing the shifter mechanism help too? I recall when changing to a short shifter, it made the gear change less vague.

I would be interested to know what is needed for a 'gear change refresh' and how much it might cost as well.

Sounds awesome, bug I'm not sure I wanna crack open a good reliable gearbox, just to make it slicker?

I just wanna change the Linkage rods/bushes etc!
